Penn Yan-Dundee Football
The Penn Yan-Dundee football team secured a win against Haverling, 27-26, Saturday, Sept. 16.
Hunter Sheehan had two touchdowns. Braden Fingar also scored twice with a two-point conversion.
The team's next game is against Warsaw on the road, Friday, Sept. 22.

Dundee-Bradford
Boys Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford boys soccer team achieved a win against Honeoye, 3-0, Thursday, Sept. 14. The boys team also defeated Penn Yan, 1-0, last Tuesday.

Girls Soccer
The Dundee-Bradford girls soccer team won against the Red Jacket, 4-0, Friday, Sept. 15. Madison Hughes and Kendall Parker both had two goals apiece. Madalyn Knapp, Burna Crespo, Riley Stinson and Mikayla Pavlina each had an assist. Madison Hughes had her 50th career goal in the game. Ellie Fleet and Brooklyn Stock combined for an assist.
The girls soccer team defeated South Seneca, 6-0, Wednesday, Sept. 13. Hughes recorded three goals, while; Kendall Parker, Crespo and Adalyn Tham scored one. Korrin Yeoman and Grace Fryburger each had an assist. Fleet and Stock split a shutout in the goal.
The BraveScots girls soccer team won against Whitman, 4-3, Monday, Sept. 11. Parker had one goal with two assists and Hughes posted one goal and one assist. Both Stinson and Crespo scored a goal with Fleet making eight saves.

Volleyball
The Dundee-Bradford varsity volleyball team lost to Penn Yan, 3-0, Friday, Sept. 15. For the BraveScots, Mikayla Schoffner had four aces, two kills and one block. Addie Kendall earned two aces and one kill.
The volleyball team lost against Harley-Allendale Columbia, in three games, Thursday, Sept. 14.

Cross Country
The Dundee-Bradford cross country team competed at the Naples/Bloomfield meet, Tuesday, Sept. 12. Top finishers included: Braedyn Fisher, 51st and Joey Torpy 59th. Cheyanne Grandall was 15th and Marley Duffy was 18th.

Penn Yan
Boys Soccer
The Penn Yan boys soccer team was defeated by Marcus Whitman, 1-0, Thursday, Sept. 14. Penn Yan's Nathaniel Chaffee made seven saves.
The boys soccer team lost against Dundee, 1-0, Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Girl’s Soccer
The Penn Yan girls soccer team earned a win against Waterloo, 2-1, Saturday, Sept. 16.
The girls fell to Wayne, 2-0, Friday, Sept. 15. The team also lost to Mynderse, 3-1, and tied Livonia, 0-0, last week.

Tennis
The Penn Yan tennis team won against Marcus Whitman, 4-1, Friday, Sept. 15. Anella Tillman, Natalie Koen and Rachael Garvey won in singles. The double team of Charlotte Saner and Aubrey Flores also won.
The tennis team shut out Bloomfield 5-0, Monday, Sept. 11. In singles, Garvey, Tillman, and Koen all recorded wins. The doubles teams of Amanda Smith - Erin Clancy and Saner - Flores also won.

Golf
The Penn Yan golf team was defeated by Bloomfield, 227-270, Friday, Sept. 15. Will Thompson shot a 44, and Colin Johnson recorded a 49 with a birdie on hole number three.
The golf team was defeated by Mynderse, 218-260, Wednesday, Sept. 13. Thompson had the low 47.
The Penn Yan golf team lost against Honeoye, 265-266, Monday, Sept. 11. Johnson posted a birdie on the number four hole. Thompson added a 44.

Cross Country
The Penn Yan cross country team competed at the Naples/Bloomfield meet, Tuesday, Sept. 12.
For the boys, James Tette was first in 18:01.8. Anthony Wheeler took fifth and Miles Ditzell was ninth. Finn Tette and Brisco Smith finished 12th and 13th, respectively.
For the girls, Ameina Samultalski was second and Eva Smith was 11th. Madison Bishop finished in 24th.

Volleyball
The Penn Yan volleyball team won against Dundee, Friday, Sept. 15. For the Mustangs, Hailey Trank had five aces, four kills, 19 assists and two digs. Rosslan Force recorded two aces and 16 kills. Alexis Parsons posted four aces, one kill, one block and one dig.
The Penn Yan volleyball team beat South Seneca, 3-1, Thursday, Sept. 14. Trank led with nine aces, four kills, 21 assists and five digs. Parsons added one ace, five kills, two blocks and six digs; Dunning had one ace, three kills and two digs.
The Penn Yan volleyball team won against Newark, 3-0, Monday, Sept. 11. Force made 18 kills in the game, Lillie Marsh scored one ace, four kills, two assists and five digs. Parsons added four aces, three kills and one block.

Hammondsport
Boys soccer
The Hammondsport boys soccer team lost against South Seneca/Romulus, 2-1, Friday Sept. 15.
The Lakers were defeated by Avoca-Prattsburgh, 1-8, Wednesday, Sept. 13. The team also fell in a tight game against Andover-Whitesville/Jasper-Troupsburg, Monday, Sept. 11. The final score was 5-4.

Girls Soccer
The Hammondsport girls soccer team was defeated by Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale, 2-1, Friday, Sept. 15.
The Lakers lost to Addison, 1-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Volleyball
No game reports were available this week.

Schuyler Storm Football
The Schuyler Storm Football team lost against Chenango Forks, 40-8, Friday, Sept. 15. Bradley Gillis posted 11 carries over 109 yards. Ryan Willet had 11 carries for 25 yards. Nick D’Alleva added seven runs for 19 yards and Quacey Wilt carried three times for 19 yards.
Quarterback Gavin Lohmeyer was 5-for-16 passing with 41 yards. Gillis made three catches for 21 yards. Wilt and Willett each made one completion for 12 and eight yards, respectively.
The leading tacker was Gillis with 15. Brady Cannon, D'Alleva and Willett each recorded six tackles.

Swimming
The Schuyler Storm swimming team defeated Ithaca, 94-81, Saturday, Sept. 16. First-place finishers included: Kendra Fish, Alannah Klemann, Skye Cummings and Emily Melveney.
The Schuyler swimming team won against Notre Dame, 90-48, Thursday, Sept. 14. For Watkins/Odessa, Alannah Klemann, Marquez and Melveney each had two first-place finishes. Aubrey Klemann had one, as did Skye Cummings, Kendra Fish and Riley Brooks.

Watkins Glen
Boys Soccer
The Watkins Glen boys soccer team defeated Groton, 8-1, Friday, Sept. 15. Caleb Bresset, the goalie, had 15 saves. Liam Smith, Michael Purpura, Jude Santos, and Christopher Simiele had two goals each. Purpura also recorded two assists, Jude Santos and Aidan Kelly each had one.
The soccer team beat Odessa-Montour, 3-1, Wednesday, Sept. 13. Purpura, Smith and Kelly each scored a goal. Purpura also had one assist and the goalie Bresset made 14 saves.
The boys team won against Newfield, 2-1, Monday, Sept. 11. The first goal was made by Purpura with help from Smith. Then Smith scored the second goal with assistance from Purpura. Bresett posted a total of 14 saves. Coach Jessica Purpura reported that Jaymes Forker and Sam Hohle were able to contain the Newfield offense for the majority of the game.

Girls Soccer
The Watkins Glen girls soccer team won against Moravia, 7-0, Saturday, Sept. 16. Sasha Honrath posted three goals and one assist. Skye Honrath recorded two goals and Ava Kelly had one with an assist. Maisie Robertson also contributed a goal.
Jennifer Gublo and Brenna Pierce both had one assist. The goalie, Lilly Ameigh, had a total of four saves.
The girls soccer team beat Tioga, 5-0, Thursday, Sept. 14. Sasha Honrath had three goals and Skye Honrath made two. Gublo had one assist in the game. Ameigh made five saves.
The girls also won against Odessa-Montour, 6-0, Tuesday, Sept. 12. Kelly led with two goals and 1 assist. Sasha Honrath, Olivia King and Briana Hatch each scored one goal. Skye Honrath also scored a goal, and had one assist. Michaela Wheaton added one assist. Ameigh made three saves in the goal.

The Watkins Glen volleyball team lost against Newark Valley, 3-1, Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Odessa
Boys Soccer
The Odessa-Montour boys soccer team lost against Watkins Glen, 3-1, Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The boys fell to Tioga, 5-0, Monday, Sept. 11.

Girls Soccer
The Odessa-Montour girls soccer team lost to Groton, 3-0, Wednesday, Sept. 13. The team also fell to Watkins Glen, 6-0, Tuesday, Sept. 12. Jackie Mace had a total of six saves in goal.
