Watkins swimmers top Notre Dame

WATKINS GLEN-The Senecas' girls varsity swimming team beat visiting Elmira-Notre Dame, 105-69, Wednesday, Sept. 21.
Peighton Cervoni was first in the 100 freestyle (1:00.01) and first in the 100 backstroke (1:08.87). Sara Gardner won first in the 50 freestyle (28.82), while Lexi Castellaneta took first in diving. Jillian Kilcoyne finished first in the 100 butterfly (1:12.37).
Liza Carnes was second in the 200 freestyle (2:17.24) and second in the 100 butterfly (1:13.32). Amanda Wilbur placed second in the 200 IM (2:33.52) and second in the 100 backstroke (1:10.04). Elizabeth Kilcoyne was second in the 50 freestyle (28.95) and Jena Slater was second in diving. Isabella Fazzary took second in the 500 freestyle (6:19.53). Sarah Swinnerton finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:23.29).
