Mustangs tennis team falls to Newark

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan varsity tennis team opened the season with a 4-1 loss to Newark, Tuesday, April 7.
The Mustangs' win came from Jon Lucas in singles, beating Matt Roelands, 6-3, 6-3. Also in singles, Jack Arnold fell, 6-2, 6-1, and Jake Moore lost, 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles: Noah Terpolilli and Matt Lafferty, lost 6-2, 6-2; and Garrett Warren and Keegan Baxter fell 6-4, 6-2.
