PENN YAN-The Penn Yan varsity wrestling team defeated North Rose-Wolcott, 52-28, Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Courtney Lafler (106) earned her 100th career win in her match against Pedro Pascual, 3-1. Dylan Lackey (113) pinned Jacob Tuper in 2:49. Cole Kirch (132) won by decision against Mike Zerniak, 6-0. Coty Bailey (160) beat Crum Zach, 12-0.
Gage Ponsetti (182) pinned Dylan Hicks in 1:42. Nate Elliott (126), Dakota Miller (138), Kevin Canalas (145), Miguel Santos (152), and Cassie Lafler (99) won by forfeit.
