Sectionals: Penn Yan softball, girls lacrosse advance

PENN YAN–The Penn Yan girls varsity softball team advanced in sectional play, Thursday, May 22 by beating Marcus Whitman. The final score was 5-3. Becca Bailey drove in the go-ahead run for Penn Yan with an RBI triple.
The softball team (15-4), will now take on Waterloo at Midlakes Tuesday, May 27 at 5 p.m.

Girls lacrosse moves to 15-2 with win
 VICTOR–The Penn Yan girls varsity lacrosse team beat Waterloo 11-8, Thursday, May 22. The team record improves to 15-2. Three seeded Penn Yan will now face number one seeded Honeoye Falls-Lima in the championship game Wednesday, May 28. The game will be played at Eastridge High School at 7 p.m.
